Our Non-Alcohol Shiraz is typical of South Australian Shiraz, this Shiraz is full-bodied and full of flavour. On the nose, dark brooding fruits with hints of vanilla and spice. The palate has good length, you’ll notice notes of dark red and purple berries, and dark chocolate, well balanced and smooth.

B1654 is born of the combined efforts of Dorham Pfeiffer and his father, the late Kevin Pfeiffer. Kevin was a pioneer of non-alcoholic wines. He was passionate and innovative and generous, sharing

his knowledge of creating non-alcoholic wines with the larger winemaking industry. His skill was recognised widely, receiving an Order of Australia Medal for services to the industry and community.

The B1654 range is a tribute to Kevin and shows that non-alcoholic wines can still have the characters and complexities of a traditional wine.

Food Pairing

This wine goes well with beef, pastas, pizzas, and hard cheeses. Try it slightly chilled, it’s a little unusual, but delicious!

To get the best representation of wine in a non-alcoholic package, it begins with creating a wine traditionally then meticulously stripping all the great characters of the wine taste, texture and aroma, to add back in once it has been de-alkalised.  Through using gentle core spinning cone technology we are able to strip back the alcohol.  Then add back in the taste, texture and aroma.   Rebuilding the wine without the alcohol, a slow and tedious process, but worthwhile as you can see in our products.

I was with a few mates last night and took along your B1654 non alc Shiraz. The group all commented that its one of the first NA Reds that tastes like wine.
