Using a blend of varieties, with a Chardonnay base, this refreshing Sparkling has brilliant fruit structure and is well balanced. The nose has floral aromas, with a hint of fruit apricot and peach. The stone fruit flavour carries on in the palate, along with notes of brioche and lime. The texture is light, elegant, and effervescent with lively bubbles.

B1654 is born of the combined efforts of Dorham Pfieffer and his father, the late Kevin Pfieffer. Kevin was a pioneer of non-alcoholic wines. He was passionate and innovative and generous, sharing

his knowledge of creating non-alcoholic wines with the larger winemaking industry. His skill was recognised widely, receiving an Order of Australia Medal for services to the industry and community.

The B1654 range is a tribute to Kevin and shows that non alcoholic wines can still have the characters and complexities of a traditional wine.

To get the best representation of wine in a non-alcoholic package, it begins with creating a wine traditionally then meticulously stripping all the great characters of the wine taste, texture and aroma, to add back in once it has been de-alkalised.  Through using gentle core spinning cone technology we are able to strip back the alcohol.  Then add back in the taste, texture and aroma.   Rebuilding the wine without the alcohol, a slow and tedious process, but worthwhile as you can see in our products.
